:iagree:

I love the Z, but come on.... it's a no brainer. The NSX is a classic in the making. Yeah it's a bit underpowered, but who cares....that thing looks gorgeous.

If it were NSX for a GT-R however....

Thanks for all the feedback. I'm going to look at and test drive the 14Z, then make my decision.

Bro this thing is Fn mint, 14z are you kidding me, I hope you are joking keep the NSX.

damian_mb 10-25-2013 09:21 AM

Stick with your NSX! Get a Z later on as they are having a price drop.

You will regret trading in your NSX :)

if you ever decide to swap your dd, get the Z as your dd. the Z is the 'daily sports' car. (daily drivable sports car). :) GL with your decision.

Pssshhh....nah man.
No, I would invite him out to see some 370z if he was in Houston and maybe see what he thought of the car and talk to people, get away from the sales people.

funny how OP came here to be convinced of trading in his nsx for a z, and everyone is saying keep the nsx or trying to trade their z for it.

it just tells you a lot of us are car enthusiasts here, not just a Z-dork :ugh:

Seems you are not certain you want to let it go. If it were me I would keep the NSX. Until it becomes to the point that you can't stand to even look at it sitting in your garage it is a no brainer. KEEP IT!

As crazy as it sounds, I'd love to get an '02+ NSX over a GT-R as a non-daily driver even if it costs as much as a used one. Although the money spent modding the NSX would equate to or exceed the cost of a GT-R, the NSX chassis is great, and the looks never age. Plus, I don't care about tracking the car, so my requirements differ.

With a stock motor, I'd be plenty happy with 400-450 whp (stock block) with a turbo kit on the NSX. It is lighter than the Z and highly responsive. I don't think the NSX has any throttle lag issues either. It might not end up being as powerful as a GT-R, but at least I can enjoy the turbo whoosh and high response.

The NSX is more affordable to maintain than the GT-R, but parts are crazy expensive. The Z is probably the cheapest to maintain overall. [sigh]
