I'm trying to find me an intelikey. I'm not sure if I can do it with only 1 key. I heard that sometimes they require 2 keys for them to be able to reprogram another key. Sounds like BS but eh.. idk I also heard that they just simply charge a 1/2 labor fee or 1hr labor fee for the 10 minute reprogram job. I guess I will find out soon enough.

As for the metal plate thing with the programing ##.. I ran to my car and searched everywere when I read that post. I don't see one anywhere.. DOH!!

I dont know what Nissan wants for a new key, but my wife just got a 2013 Daytona Charger R/T and they told her not to misplace her keys because they charge $700.00 for a new key and programming. When I found that out my jaw hit the damn floor Good luck....

If you have the key you may be able to get a new metal thingie. Not sure.
