Some say wait and some say modify right away. I do no think there is a clear answer. On my 2013, I began modifying (cat-back) at 93 miles, but I still took it easy in the RPM's until about 1,000 miles.

I'd wait at least until the break in period is over just in case you got a bad one and need immediate warranty work. No sense in messing with anything just yet.

I'd wait until break in is over so you can realize any gains vs stock.

With that said I had Nissan install my oil cooler while they installed the new short block.

Good luck.

I got my CBE at 1300 miles and when i tool her in for the first oil change at the dealership they all drooled over the sound it made. IMO breather mods dontt make a difference. But the intake... I would get one when the first ones are ready to be changed that way your not spending extra money on a barely used air filter. IMO of course. And yes it is hard not letting the RPMS go over 4K (what my dealer said till my first oil change) during the break in period, but im sure you dont want to replace the engine sooner than expected.

I am not one that does a lot of modding but I had a cat back true dual on the z well before I hit 700 miles. I don't see any reason you need to wait (Couldn't stand the rasp of the stock exhaust). Some say wait and that may be the best answer but dealerships will either warranty your stuff or be a PIA. That has more to do with the dealership than the mods you do to a vehicle.
