And yes, GM will honor the warranty, however, when the 400Z comes out and you waana trade, prepare for them scoffing and offering you free oil changes for a year in trade. I dont know what was done to the Z, but regardless, you can have all the HP in the world, coupled with a shytty driver, it dont mean squat. And you said 12's for 1k, 11's are a different story altogether.

And as a former DSM owner/racer, I know the limits of the 4G63, and 11's are attainable, however, beyond 500whp, you need a stouter block.
