That evo is very overdone, it's bordering on rice status unless you time attack you shouldn't have a wing that big.

Z looks like a sports car, Evo and STI just look like their cheap and nasty base models, with stoopid bodykits and bigger wheels.

Can't argue - Z is tha coupe, looks great, drives great, evo and STi drive great for a 4WD but looks wise come nowhere near.

Most Z drivers aren't as much of an @$$ on the road as Evo drivers. Every Evo on the road that I have run into are wannabe street racers. Oh snapZ! Oh no I didn't! OH yes I did!

But this isn't about drivers...this about the cars. So...nevermind...

I cleaned up the "other thread". It was actually a member's 370z journal. I do apologize to our forum member "EVO_Killer" for not cleaning up before it became a 20 page debate. I didn't receive any reported post therefore it wasn't on my radar.

Although i don't like the new generations of the evo or the sti... I am just annoyed at the quality of the Z, the paint sucks, it rattles all over the place... I understand its a sportscar and all, but you don't have these problems on the evo or the sti.

I believe it comes down 2 need. I'm single so I went with the 2 seat pure sports car. If I had a family I would have went with the 4 door sports car. If u need the extra space why not get the Evo. If the 370z didn't come out I would be driving a Evo.

The only place an Evo belongs is in a Z's rear view mirror.

If you want a quick 4 dr family car, get a G, as they say in W. Virginia, "Lets keep it in the family". Not everyone cares about spending 3k and having a 400whp car, looks AND performance should be every enthusiasts objective, EVO has the performance part covered, but no one slays the ladies like a Z. :tup:

I used to have a lot more respect for Evo until a few nights ago when a few kids in 4 Evos decided to play around on the street at 2am. True they were VIII and IX, no X, but they were just so inferior to 370Z from a roll. I used to like them when they stacked up very well to my 350Z but their stock just plummeted in my perception. I can see it now, those kids arguing to their parents, "it's not really a sports car, it's a four door sedan" hahaha

I LOVE the 370z. But I don't see any Z's doing this.

Also, I said street car...I see no license plate...I would show you some street races with that 8 second Evo but that isn't allowed on here, lol.

actually as much as I love the Z, I'm gunna have to go with the Evo being a more potential'd car in a race. that evos are so sensitive to aftermarket parts its not even funny. but who knows? maybe there's sumthing in the see we haven't seen yet

I'm actually deciding between the 370Z, Evo X, and G8 GXP.

G8 GXP? you ARE aware that Pontiac will no longer exist after this year right? Besides, those things are fat pigs, just like the GTO's, theres no way a 400hp car should run mid 13's, stick w/ the EVO or Z, theyll hold theyre value.

Oh, BTW, before I go any further...

Anyone that knows me KNOWS I'm a huge Z fan... ****, I'm bypassing dumping ignorant amounts of money into my Evo so I can buy a 370Z and have both. I'm also a prior 350Z owner ('03 LMS - the best color ever for Zs). So don't think I have no clue what I'm talking about and take the bashing with a grain of salt... it's all in good fun.
