Break it in nice and slow as mentioned, but also break it in as your going to drive it in the future. Meaning you can go hard on it, the engine is not going to explode or anything. I wouldn't max it out, but I definitely wouldn't be afraid to have some fun. Hey I have a Chevy Cobalt SS 1st gen and I broke it in hard and it has lots of miles now and runs like butter.
