![]() ![]() Nissan 370Z (VQ37VHR) Nice compact size but I always like inline smoothness myself. BMW was a long-time advocate of Inline N/A engines. And for a good reasons. But when American and Japanses V6 competition pushed the HP envelope, BMW was forced to go turbo route. BMW can make big HP without Turbos. It's just cheaper to do with Turbos. They save the big power naturally aspirated engines for the M's. I don't have the figures in front of me but I see allot of $$$$$ to prove a 370z could be made faster. |

The thing is nasty, spacious, brutal tone from the quad tips. His car was definitely the faster car, but not to the point of ridiculousness. Ultimately, he spent as much time drooling over the Z as I did over the M. The takeaway we agreed on (he is in his 30's and me in my 20's) was that the M is nasty, but for 30k the Z is still a helluva lot of car if you can drive it well. That MUST mean something coming from an M owner! ![]() |
