EDIT: Never mind -- I found it. Another unofficial (but cool!) rendering.

I found something last night that claimed the Z35 was originally promised to be debuted at Detroit auto show in Jan -- I think the "Z35" and "Generation Z" car (i.e., the IDx concept) were being conflated across interviews and reports, and that is what led to the confusion over what car was being revealed at the Tokyo show.

Oh well...

What did the other cars in LA end up being?

The grille reminds me of of the GTR. Now looking at the hood and towards the rear. I can see some 240/260/280 in there.

It's a pretty nice rendering, but who knows what we'll see in January or what will make it to production.

Remember the three (or four?) different versions of the FT-86. They went with the worst of the various concepts :shakes head:

I'm guessing we'll get some better ideas of what to expect by X-mas tho'.

I think the people with the most comments in here want to see it so bad because we are waiting to see if we should buy now or wait for the next gen. And when you talk about buying a car, it's not something you want to wait for. At least not me.

the two other cars at LA is the sentra nismo and gtr nismo i dont think they updated the site cause most of those pics with cars covered have all been shown already..

I love the rendering. Im anxious to know about the next z. For me to buy it, and I will, IF its at least as fast in a straight as a 370, a bit quicker in the twisties, say a high 1.26 at the top gear track, gets at least 19 city 29 highway MPG (prob needs premium, I don't care) and MSRP starts at no more than $31K WITH SOME TECH, lsd, Bluetooth, etc. Oh, needs to look good too. 2 seat coupe.
