I have a serious problem. The last 4 days straight I've done nothing but research brz's, evo x's, and wrx/sti's. Literally all day at work cause I'm turning huge stainless parts...which mean 1.5 hour cut and 5 mins of moving aftereards...to start another cut. Lol.

Still don't know which I would like. I think coming from the stang I'd need more than a brz power...which puts me at evo...but then I wouldn't save money anywhere. Wrx I'd save on payment and tiny gas....and have 4 doors...but it's not as pretty as the other 2. Brz is sexy and handles lime a dream but god awfully slow

I'm in no position to test drive. Holidays means busy and still being upside down like a thousand on my stang says nonono

Anything else I can look up? Or talk about? I got today and to.orrow to research! Lol

when i first started posting in this thread i thought you where one of the cool guys in here, now :gtfo2::icon18:

first, brz/frs only sexy for the first few looks at it, no seriously after that you see it for what it is, a smallish cheap import sports car with no balls and tiny tires to make you feel like you have more then you really do.
The wrx/sti and evo of yesterday where very cool, the new versions of both are soft and ugly made for a larger more conservative crowd.

if i where buying a 4 cylinder car id be looking at the golf gti, ford focus st, both in my opinion better looking cars then the other 4 mentioned. all of these will leave you wanting more power, especially coming from a mustang. you will be out of any of them as fast as you get in them. i haven't been in here lately, whats wrong with the new mustang?

Pitch 12-23-2013 04:06 PM

2015 mustang? Nothing. I just want to be cheaoer

Have you driven a frs? Car and driver say it us just a tiny bit less fun than a lotus elise...soo...I wouldn't bash it to much

Evo and wrx are just options that can perform and look nice

i have, and unless you are driving on a race track or drifting, as a daily driver you would get bored. its not a stop light racer.

its like buying a 250 cc motorcycle to drive around town, its ok, but as soon as you get on the highway you wish you had the 1000cc bike.

all I'm saying you yourself said you would need more power, I'm just telling you to go look at one in person, look at it closely , you will see what i mean.

It grows on me more and more. I see one like 4 days a week when I go to the vapor place. Especially the interior. And the one I sat in I loved to death with how tiny it is.

Is it for me? Idk...he'll have his turbod soon and then we'll see how it is :D

I've driven my friends frs for a week, granted it was automatic but at the end of day 5 I was itching to get the hell out of it!

I was averaging about 25mpg and I was taking it up to redline pretty often. Just like jlo said, it's like a 250cc bike, except slower lol. What made it worse is that he upgraded the wheels and tires to 18" with some wide sticky summer tires, so the car would never chirp any gears no matter how hard I tried...
2nd gear redline very sharp corner wouldn't break traction, honestly the car made me sick driving it.

The only pro that I can think off is the amount of looks it got (that was about 6 month ago), and it did look pretty bad *** with wide tires on the rear.

Also the engine sounded like it had crickets in it, something about that direct injection.

What about the cheapest, fastest, most efficient option none of us have mentioned?

public transportation? :D

Pitch 12-23-2013 10:33 PM

Public transportation is not fast. Ms3 is not it.

Faster than a c7. 1/10th the price and double the mpg

:werd: If no Z was revealed there, not much point in keeping this open. We have plenty of chat threads here to shoot the breeze about non Z stuff.
