Nissan 370Z Forum

Waking up to a puddle of oil under my car = bad.

Dealers are a nightmare, I only go there when I get free stuff.

Some dealers are. A good dealer is a godsend, though. I only have my car serviced at the dealer, and only by a tech qualified to work on that car. I have his cell and give him a ring a day or two in advance. Create a portfolio of work done to the car, and if/when I sell it, I will have proof that all work was done by a competent source, at the recommended interval, and I further have ammo to protect my warranty if anything ever goes wrong. The dealership or the manufacturer (depending on what's wrong) will eat the cost. People make mistakes. If I make a mistake, it's on me. If they, then them. Much rather that mistake be on them.
