I remember when I got my note instead of the z I got alot of people saying "I don't know I just can't see you driving that little car" and not to long after that people at work stopped really caring about what I drove so yes I would say when you drive a z you get treated differently

Um..well, like everyone has mentioned already, you get more attention in the car than you previously did. For me, besides the compliments, people seem to be more nice on the road towards me. (well some). For example, they let me merge, or let me go first on a 4-way stop sign, when obviously I was not the first one to the stop sign.

Another thing I've noticed, and it might be the car or just myself being friendly; when ordering at a drive thru, I seem to get better service when I am in the Z, they actually give me enough taco sauce, ketchup etc. LOL (without asking!) You guys know how it is these days, if you don't ask for ketchup you won't get any! and even when you do ask, they will give you like 2 ketchup packets for like 3 Burgers and 3 Fries lol.

Ever since I purchased the Nismo 2 months ago I have noticed a big change in how people treat you. Previously, I drove a 2008 Honda Civic LX...nothing fancy, just a great commuter car. Now with the Z, I have gotten a lot more attention from people I knew but never really hung out with. I find it odd because I still act the same and treat people the same before and after the Z. Now these people I never hung out with are calling me to go hang out and asks if I want to join their car meet etc. As for another example, people at work keep asking me if I received a promotion (which I didn't). They say my family must be rich and asks me how much the car cost me (somebody thought it cost over 50k). When I tell them it wasn't expensive and cost under 30k they were shocked. I bought the Z because I've always loved the Z car and thought it was a great price for all that you get. Have you guys experienced the same thing happen to you when you got your Z?

yes, pretty girls stared, waved and even blew kisses while i was driving my G. they would stop at a light and comment about my car.

now with my Z, i only get  from ugly greasy doods at gas stations. :shakes head:

I gained an entirely new friend circle from having the Z. People who'd want to hang out every time I'm back home, even though we have nothing else in common other than driving enthusiasts' cars.

There is good in it and bad in it as well...the good when people compliment you that you have a nice car or thinks it looks cool...the bad is people who question you about it (you don't ever talk to). How are you able to afford it? Did your parents buy it for you? That irritates me the most.

i dont get those questions, but i did get one question from my indian neighbor down the street with a green prius asking why i have 'two of the EXACT SAME CARS?' he was looking at my G and Z.

I got a good story for you guys (on topic).

One night me and my friends all decided to go to a club in downtown Houston. My friend's family is filthy rich, he drives a Murcielago and was single at the time. He took it out that night. When we were in the club he was kinda lonely cause we were all couples and so my gf tried to talk to these single girls and introduce them to him maybe grab a drink or something, dance a little. The girls all straight denied him and walked away. At 2 A.M. the club was closing and his Lambo was parked right in the front. The group of girls noticed the car and saw that he was the owner of it and what do you know, they all came up and tried to start a conversation with him...one girl came up and said hey thats a sexy car what was your name again? He said sorry you had your chance to find that out earlier. Got in his car and zoomed off. Those girls were drooling it was so funny.
