Exactly, you're either broke because you're raising kids or you need the van or the truck because you're in the home remodel/upgrade phase of life or taking kids to soccer, dance, baseball, football, whatever. Then finally, the kids move out, the remodels are done, you have a little extra cash at the end of the month for the first time of your life so you buy something you actually WANT instead of something you need. Jealous a-holes don't get it. We're here for ya, brother. :tup:

I get treated the same regardless of what I drive. A car can compliment a person but your self esteem and how u carry yourself says a lot about how people treat u. Im respected every place I go, the Z just gets love from everyone as well. I appreciate the love I get from people. :tup:

A person I work with gives me the evil eye because I bought my Z new and he rides a bicycle. He's broke before Monday because he drinks or drugs his money away. Four DUI's later he had his drivers license permanently revoked. It's a sad situation he's in, but it's by his own making and he has no one to blame but himself.

Yeah all my Porsche buddies stopped wanting to hang out with me when i bought the cheap Z. Sort of treated me like I was from lower rung of society. Cougarish ladies in nice towns stopped asking me about my car and high school kids started to tell me how cool my Z was. Defintely downgrade socially from my Porsche.
