mr.jar- lol... i remember a story on cnn where some guy had an altercation with a cyclist. he slammed his brakes in front of the dumb arse bikers, and the bikers smashed into the guy's car.

the driver was sentenced to jail. :ugh:

The best revenge I ever heard of was a guy who slowed down to follow a group of six bikers who were riding three abreast. He turned on his hazards like he was part of their crew. They finally stopped at a cafe, and he pretended to drive off. He parked around the corner, and while they were inside, he let the air out of all their tires. He left several of these laying on the ground next to the bikes :icon17:

I just prefer to go a bit faster than the traffic flow. I rather be in front than behind some dumb drivers. But when i am in front, i try to not go as fast or noticeable for a speed trap. Thats my daily routine :D

I thought if you rear ended anyone it was your fault regardless. Once again a protected class emerges.

We just had a biker sentenced for killing a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Most thought the bike would get off Scott free. Hooray for justice (sorry about poor individual).

I hate being tailgated so I'd let them by and it would happen a few moments later by the next cockgobbler.

Outside of LA I want to drive faster than the next car. So I try and get ahead at every opportunity. On the few times I've been wrong, I let the car behind me go and try and keep up with him.

I've been in LA area for the last few days for work and I seriously don't understand bikers here in being able to drive between cars wherever they go. That's not the case in IL. I've seen plenty of crazed bikers driving around, cutting people off, weaving in and out of traffic and narrowly getting between cars while going well above the speed limit on the highway. I know its legal here in CA to drive between cars like that and apparently its even a question on the written exam but it just seems crazy. It was a madhouse yesterday on the 10 heading into LA with these idiots. Is there a high rate of biker accidents in CA? I don't see how there wouldn't be with people like this and people changing lanes without seeing a biker. It's definitely a different aspect in driving then what we have in the Chicago area.

bikers in chicago are huge and wont fit between two cars...

Bike accidents are definitely lower in Cali when compared to the rest of the US but I guess because its legal here, bikers don't feel the need to be asshats about lane splitting as opposed to other bikers in other states.

We do have our fair share of squids though who weave in and out of traffic.
EDIT: looks like you're talking about the squids XD

Most of the bikers I know don't do that since its legal.

Also its legal because it makes sense, bikes are at a higher risk when sitting in traffic as opposed to cars and it helps with traffic decongestion. Just think about it, that's one less vehicle in front of you.

That is true. :) They're more about the big Harleys and not the sport bikes like I've seen out here. Don't think they would be fitting on a sport bike.

I'm an aggressive driver doesn't matter if I'm driving my Ranger, daughter's Versa. wife's SUV or my Z. Is my style of driving not the vehicle.

I have been nailed in my Ranger and wife's SUV, none on the Z knock on wood!
