More like 0-60 in 5.3 and 1/4 mile in 13.9. This car just has so much hype behind it that people think it's faster. The Super cars of the 90's (300zx, RX-7, supra, 3000GT) all ran high 13's with around 5sec 0-60's.

![]() And all of these were often modded to produce faster times. Ever notice how the fastest time observed suddenly becomes the "norm" for the vehicle? Do we all think that our 370Z's are 4.6 in 0-60 and 13.4 in the quarter b/c one magazine achieved this on a single example of the vehicle? BTW, is there a thread somewhere with timeslips for actual Z dragstrip times? Fantasies are nice to hold, and the "oldies" are often better in our memories than they were in real life! |
