Cruising, your oil temps should be more then fine. Plenty of air flow, no high revving. 250ish is where you should start to worry but even with no oil cooler, you should have no problems unless you get stuck in some bad traffic.

You should have no issues, but if you're that concerned, before the trip, do an oil change and use one of many quality synthetic oils. I'm using M1 0w-40 in mine. Any synth will work.

I drove from Boston back to NYC last night. It was 95* and ridiculously humid. I sat in 100 miles worth of traffic, and the oil temp sat around 220 at its highest. No problems.

If going uphill in warm temps I get to 230-240 degrees pretty easily even when driving like a grandpa. I'm running Castrol synthetic (titanium) so I'm not terribly worried. It's not the temp that bothers me because it's not super high. It's how easily and quickly the temps move around that bug me.

Oh well, I have the extended warranty. Not really my problem.

Someone should tell him the car is going to blow up, like the rest of the 370 with high oil temp problems. Oh wait, hasn't happened to many.
