They're probably covering the MN taxes because that's where you bought it. Some states have reciprocity like if you bought the car out of state you only owe the difference

They're probably covering the MN taxes because that's where you bought it. Some states have reciprocity like if you bought the car out of state you only owe the difference in sales tax between the too, and you'd owe if you have a higher rate where you are getting it registered vs where you bought it.
