Take him to to drag strip and put money on it. That way a lot of people will see it. Father had a 1500 Hemi and now a 2500 Hemi. Great power for towing but unless you keep it in 2nd, you will have him every time.

DarkJak 06-06-2013 08:00 PM

He has absolutely no chance. You won't even run the risk of misshifting with the 7AT, not that it'd even matter, the gap is so huge. A new v6 camry coul out-run his car most likely.

Wager as much money as possible on a head to head run at a drag strip. Take his money AND shut him up.

Why pick up truck drivers are always trying to race sports cars??? They are worse than mustangs, bmw's and everyone else. Fvckin douche bag a-holes.

Pick-up drivers are fvckin dillusional:mad:

Just tell him to stop hating and F... off

11Thumper 06-06-2013 08:19 PM

So much for the days of grammar and the understanding of CAPS LOCK.

mhcoss 06-06-2013 09:29 PM

not sure what it is about the dodge truck drivers but they all seem to take the mentality that they are driving a race truck lmao.

90 ST 06-06-2013 09:38 PM

Just tell him, it's not how you stand next to your truck, it's how you drive it. LOL

Just traded in my 2013 ram hemi 4x4 4dr for a 2013 sport z today. >5000lbs 395hp hemi vs 3250lbs 332hp z. It's a no brainer who wins. Unless you're really bad at driving. Or do you both have autos?

Thats funny, they are always trying to race me. I just laugh and that makes ego go through the roof. Not worth my time but like was stated take them to the drags and show them how slow they are. Even the Hemi Challengers aren't that fast.

My grand father has one of these. It's got the biggest damn brembos I've ever seen and carbon fiber everywhere inside AND out. It is so cool. And red. Beat my uncles zo6 corvette at the strip for slips. It was awesome I should have videoed it. Of course the jeep was auto and my uncle isn't as quick as he used to be with the manual, but my Gpa added a new car to his garage that day.

3pitbulls 06-06-2013 11:26 PM

Wow that must of sucked for you uncle to lose his vette,,,,

UNKNOWN_370 06-07-2013 08:31 AM

I would just love to know what makes someone want to drive a supply hauling rollover king like a sports car??? Just because those trucks have Vette and challenger engines, don't make them vettes and challengers... no one looks dumber on the road than a pick up truck driver attempting to drive like he's in a Lotus. :wtf2:

And some dill-hole in a truck actually challenging a sports car??? Furthermore, challenging a Z is a moron. And I KNOW WHY they choose the Z. The two less cylinders makes them think they actually have a chance with there v8's in a 3 ton vehicle. It's just moronic trailer park redneck logic. What a fvckin group of winners. Every time i get on the road, a pickup is always trying to show me out in Dallas/Fort worth metroplex. It's done so much, i forget to even talk about them when we talk about Civics etc trying to get at us...

I can hear the scumbags talking while they're douche-maneuvering right now...

"I'm so kewl driving my pickup like a sports car. Sports car guys are jealous when they see me in my pickup driving better than them."

Idiots.

Same here... when I was in Texas the past 2 years, I was challenged by a truck almost every time I took the Z out. Sometimes they would just tailgate me so bad that I literally thought they were going to plow me off the road. I don't really understand the logic of buying a vehicle that was designed for hauling/work/offroad and trying to pretend you have a racecar. Maybe its just a Texas thing?

Coon-azz 06-07-2013 08:51 AM

I'd tell him to put his money where is mouth is. Have 3 drag races. Best of 3 Wins. If you win, You get to do his wife.? all nasty-like.
