He is married to my wife's sister,,and i dont want to offend anybody,,but he is a redneck....its a 2012 ram 1500 4 door everything stock but flowmaster....for the most part hes ok but when it comes to dodge trucks and cars. In his eyes they are the best....funny thing is he only claims to be faster than me or my cars when i'm not around,tells every body else but me....ok,,thanks to you guys i now know the z can hold its own against his loud nemi...lol..

The term derives from farmers and other outdoor workers (in the south typically) in the summer getting a lot of sun on the back of their necks turning them red. Redneck is synonymous with country, hick, back woods, etc.

My hillbilly friend said he could and he has the same truck...he lost badly. The only way they can win is if you attach the cars at the bumper and drive in separate directions!

A 1500 I believe has 395BHP, does 0-60 in 7.5ish range.. Pretty fast for a truck, but would need a lot of mods to be able to beat a Z. And he thinks he could beat your Z06? LMAO, he needs to be piss tested asap

Actually it comes from coal miners in West Virginia who wore red bandanas around their necks.
