I HAVE A BROTHER INLAW THAT CLAIMS THAT HIS DODGE RAM WITH A HEMI AND AN AFTERMARKET FLOWMASTER MUFFLER CAN BEAT THE 370Z,,,WHAT DO YOU GUYS THIN?HE SAYS THAT WITH THE FLOWMASTER HE'S GOT CLOSE TO 500HP? I THINK HE'S DREAMING...FOR LACK OF BETTER WORDS..

fwiw: most engines in cars are hemi heads now a days. dodge is the only one still stamping this 1960's trend on the side of their vehicles

I got a Dodge Power Wagon with a Hemi, and a Grand Cherokee with a Hemi. Ain't no f!@#king way the truck will touch my Nismo. The Grand Cherokee will get it coming out of the hole, and that's about it.

What style RAM (1500...etc) and what year?

0-60: 4.6 seconds
1/4: 13.3 seconds

I had a hemi dodge revving at me yesterday driving behind me . i just shook my head and was like wtf :ugh2:

He is married to my wife's sister,,and i dont want to offend anybody,,but he is a redneck....its a 2012 ram 1500 4 door everything stock but flowmaster....for the most part hes ok but when it comes to dodge trucks and cars. In his eyes they are the best....funny thing is he only claims to be faster than me or my cars when i'm not around,tells every body else but me....ok,,thanks to you guys i now know the z can hold its own against his loud nemi...lol..

A 1500 I believe has 395BHP, does 0-60 in 7.5ish range.. Pretty fast for a truck, but would need a lot of mods to be able to beat a Z. And he thinks he could beat your Z06? LMAO, he needs to be piss tested asap

Take him to to drag strip and put money on it. That way a lot of people will see it. Father had a 1500 Hemi and now a 2500 Hemi. Great power for towing but unless you keep it in 2nd, you will have him every time.

He has absolutely no chance. You won't even run the risk of misshifting with the 7AT, not that it'd even matter, the gap is so huge. A new v6 camry coul out-run his car most likely.

Just traded in my 2013 ram hemi 4x4 4dr for a 2013 sport z today. >5000lbs 395hp hemi vs 3250lbs 332hp z. It's a no brainer who wins. Unless you're really bad at driving. Or do you both have autos?

Thats funny, they are always trying to race me. I just laugh and that makes ego go through the roof. Not worth my time but like was stated take them to the drags and show them how slow they are. Even the Hemi Challengers aren't that fast.

My grand father has one of these. It's got the biggest damn brembos I've ever seen and carbon fiber everywhere inside AND out. It is so cool. And red. Beat my uncles zo6 corvette at the strip for slips. It was awesome I should have videoed it. Of course the jeep was auto and my uncle isn't as quick as he used to be with the manual, but my Gpa added a new car to his garage that day.
