Sorry, I could care less what someone else drives because it is their car...And I sure don't care what they think about what I drive or own...
yea i'm sure the guys i know at my local cars and coffee are insecure about their autos in their 458, LFa, and aventador lol

i love my auto and i;m not ashamed like most MT guys try to make us. i just laugh at the ones who try. usually it's out of envy that they hate.

Yeah....they also don't have a torque converter like you do

It's laughable you 7AT guys compare your autos to a DCT. Different animals. I think the 7AT is a great mainstream trans, but I think an auto Z deserves a DCT (hopefully Z35?). Even the GTI has one...

It was easier for the GTi to have one. VAG has spread the cost around to a lot of different models. Nissan only has the GTR tranny. They can use that one and raise the price, or develop a new one and raise the price. You can't amortize the r&d of something like that across a car that sells 10k units a year and not have a price increase.

Yeah, I know it's more cost effective for Nissan to throw their existing 7AT into the Z.....but one can wish! If it had a DCT- it would actually be a pretty tough choice for me!

aventador doesnt have a double clutch. its a single clutch 7 speed. just FYI

yes i know the difference between mine and a DCT. i do kinda like when the single clutch gives a kick when shifting at the redline.
