Pool of water when running AC?

as long as the water is OUTSIDE, you're good.

Condensate is a normal byproduct of a/c. Nothing to fear. The harder your a/c works, the more condensate will form.

I've read someone had wet floor mat all the time and that is NOT normal.

I had this happen, it is because the line that funnels the water out under the car on the passenger side gets clogged and it gets into the car. Usually just a simple cleaning of the tube fixes it.
