Like your taste in colors, wish we had more options for the interior though.

If you can believe it, those were the only three cars I owned over a 28-year period. I went out to buy a '15 GT and came home with a '09 Z. I love it and haven't really looked back. Every once in a while, I'll hear a Mustang, and miss the noise it made, but, overall, I couldn't be happier with my new car. I got a good price and, honestly, I feel like I get a lot more overall value than if I had bought another Mustang. I'm hooked!

I've got an 01 GT convertible in the garage and it's a stark contrast from the Z. I've been up to look at the new Mustangs about 4 times now...still not sure I like them.

Yeah, I can appreciate the fine-tuning they've done with the new 5.0, but the styling is gonna have to grow on me. I still haven't driven one, so I guess I shouldn't be too harsh. The biggest thing was the cost. To get it the way I wanted, I was going to have to shell out over $40,000 and I couldn't justify the expense. I paid half that for the '09 with 31,000 miles on the odometer. The Z is a blast to drive and I actually enjoy having an AT. I also like the fact that there aren't a million and one mods to make on the Z. You can fill the bolt-on punch list pretty quick, or go FI. Don't have that kind of money. Yet.

Grew up and graduated from Marion arkansas. My parents worked at presidents island for a time. Boise cascade and great dane trailers. I worked at block drug there in the 90's. Liberty land, the square, silkys, Memphis in may, rock103, Beale street, summer blvd. To watch the big boys race. Yup. Memphis is a fun place to go if you know where and when to go. Don't get lost especially in orange mound. Lol.

Ah, Summer Avenue street racing. Used to hang out at Super Shops and Zayre starting in the mid-eighties. Racing here isn't like it used to be, which is probably a good thing!

Sorry to take this off topic. I'll be leaving now...
