Yeah, I guess it's just the sentimental value. It was the car that got me into imports and modding in general, so it'll always have that special place haha. Needless to say I tend to forget about it every time I crank the Z though!

I was driving a 2004 350Z.
I also have the 1971 Z/28 and will never sell that car...Highly Modified Beast.

Thanks...Loved the 350Z but it was Kinda plain. The 370Z Sport/Touring is sickly sweet.
And the Z/28 I have had since 1983...Almost 30 years, and just modified the Heck out of it... ![]()

The 350 was really nice, brutally quick and handled great, and way better than any Z before it, but the 370Z is just super sweet. It is so much nicer is so many ways... And the old school/new school Z/28 is a bit of old technology wrapped with modern suspension, steering and brakes..Kinda went crazy on the Hotchkis, Willwood, ect...But well worth it.. Part of my youth that I cannot part with...

I had huge passion for my 77 280z which I traded (It was terminally rusted out) for a 94 Miata. That car was fun to drive but was a bit underwhelming and soulless. I had it for 18 years!!! Wow. Time flys.
Now I have returned to the Z family and of course wonder why I ever left. In retrospect I wish I would have gone from the 280 to a 300. Those 18 years might have been different I think. Ah well... My wife gives me grief about having a car I can only haul 2 ppl in, but I'm not making the same mistake twice. I love my Z, I've always loved Zs and I will always have one waiting for me on the garage. (Right next to a minivan if she gets her way ![]()
