What did you drive before your 370z?

Maintenance? I thought even/when you go FI, it's still the same basic maintenance, esp with turbos that are self-contained for example.... And basically, it's just check belts every so often,

Maintenance? I thought even/when you go FI, it's still the same basic maintenance, esp with turbos that are self-contained for example.... And basically, it's just check belts every so often, monitoring ratios, etc.... then staying on top of oil changes and other normal stuff.

What maintenance did you speak of?

Pretty much what you mentioned, just expect to do it more often. Maybe not so much the oil changes but you will be checking bolts, clamps and hoses much more often.

When I had my little eclipse running on 20psi as my daily driver I'd be under the hood every other day to check for loose clamps or bolts.. I had the hood open on that car open more than closed. lol

What did I drive before THIS Z?

Starting in 1977 a '70 Super Beetle,
'64 Chevyvan 10,
'70 MG Midget,
'68 Triumph TR4A,
'77 Camaro,
'79 Mustang,
'80 Monza,
'81 Toyota 4x2 PU,
'83 Toyota 4x4,
'85 Blazer 4x4,
'87 Isuzu Trooper 4x4,
'88 Chevy Silverado 4x4 Stepside PU,
'90 Porsche 944S2 Cab,
'92 Eagle Talon TSi,
'93 Nissan PU,
'95 Dodge Intrepid (POS I know),
'97 Dodge Ram 4x4,
'01 Honda Accord 6sp,
'03 2500 Ram 4x4,
'04 Honda Accord Coupe V6 6sp,
'07 350Z Grand Touring Roadster 6MT,
'11 370Z Touring Roadster 6MT.

Had the Accord coupe, 350Z, and '03 Ram at the same time. Sold the Z when I got divorced. Traded the Honda for the new 370 and still have the 2500 Ram 4x4 too.

New current wife has a '10 Honda CRV and a '02 Excursion. Do those count for my list too?

Oh, did you mean RIGHT BEFORE this Z? .....Sorry, I got carried away.

Before driving the Z i had the following

1) Pontiac G8 (430 HP) V8 GM L76 motor with after market cold air intake, Flow Master Exhausts, Performance Chip with aggressive map.

2) [Honda 929 CBR RR] (996cc DOHC) (148HP) did the quarter mile in 10.1s @ 137mph. After market chip with aggressive air/fuel map with race exhaust. (0-70mph in 3.9 seconds)

Now I drive the Ultimate track car 370Z.......... Wish our Super chargers would come down in price, I can imagine what our track beasts would feel like off the launch with an extra 140HP..... and all that extra torque.

Good lord, I'm 41 and I've only owned 3 cars including my Z, not including family cars (had two of those). At this rate I'll own only 6 cars in my whole life! You've got 22 and still kicking.
