Default Help please!

I have two questions. First off I ordered an HKS cbe for my 2013 Z. The website said that the exhaust would fit 09-10 model Zs so the salesman said he called the vendor to verify that the exhaust would fit and he claims it does. Now I'm almost certain that there hasn't been any changes with the car other than the front bumper, and I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know for sure if the exhaust will fit the 2013 model?
My other question is that I have intakes and obviously the exhaust, can I put them on as soon as I get the car and let them break in together or should I break in the car then add the upgrades after, whats best?

1) There are no changes from 09-14 engine wise so you can use an exhaust from any year

2) Both the intake and exhaust have no moving parts so there is obviously nothing to "break-in"

I think OP was asking if it would be better to break-in the engine with stock airbox and exhaust...

Install everything as you wish, break in period is so short it doesn't do any harm to get started

Are you responding to the wrong thread or what? Lol

exhaust should fit fine.

Break in depends on who you're asking. Some people say it doesn't matter some people say it does. And it's split pretty evenly up the middle so just go with whatever you think is best.

Last thing I remember I was in a thread about someones car being keyed. Then open up this one and I'm the first response...but thankfully Op's original question was answered. Glad I could help!

Yeah that's exactly what I was asking. I wanted to know if its better to breakin the car with the new parts or break in the car then add the parts.

Yes you do have to break the engine in....It's not like Nissan does it for you. You have to allow the rings and gaskets, etc time to expand, contract and seed into place. Running the hell out of it with super low mileage is not a good idea. Of course some will say it doesn't matter....I trust the dude with 30yrs that told me not to take it over 4k for the first 2000 miles and also to not drive at a consent speed but to very my speeds.

As far as the after market parts go. It shouldn't matter unless it's something to do with the new engine. Hell I would just wait until 2000 then mod away. It'll come faster than you think. One weekend of driving around I was able to put almost 600miles on her.
