I, too, think buying out at lease end is not a very smart move.

Leasing a toy car makes perfect sense if you can take advantage of writing it off (either whole or partially) for your business. Plus here in CA you don't pay the full tax on the car but just the leased portion instead.

...and besides, GT-R is not my toy car. It's been my DD for the past three years and an absolute workhorse at that. I took it everywhere....taking kids to/from school daily, going to the grocery stores, loading it up at Costco, picking up flowers by the flats at Home Depot...just to name a few. It really is a supercar for AnyOne, AnyTime and AnyWhere. It also is a supercar that is workplace friiendly. Customers see a Nissan and say 'Oh, it's cool'. Can you imagine the grief you gonna get if a red Ferrari is parked right outside of your business!!?.... and so that toy car stays at home at ALL TIMES.
