Wow, a simple question generated 4 pages of responses. I'm impressed.
Just want to say 'Thank You' to all of you who contributed. ...so far, we have people recommending: 1. Don't get the Z, stay with GT-R 2. Don't get the Z, get a corvette instead. 3. Don't get the Z, get a moostang instead. 4. Get the Z, but in 6MT since it's a sports car. 5. Get the Z in 7AT but put a SC on it. 6. Get the Z in 7AT but put a TT on it. Despite all these variances, one thing is for sure. For sure, in stock form, Z is not going to make me happy. So FI is the only way to go if I want to pursuit this. But would an aftermarket FI kit take away the reliability of an otherwise bulletproof car/engine?? Will increased torque gain from the FI kit make traction unmanageable?? These are the type of questions I would need to investigate further. But for now, Thank You, to everyone for his/her enthusiastic replies.
