Interesting letter from Roush and Nissan

Got this letter saying they want to do emission test on 2012s. Not exactly sure why, anyone has insight or thoughts?

Don't think I will be participating, can't wait for the winter to get back into the Z. Don't want to part with the car for another 2 weeks. I guess they send it to me because of my location. I am only an hour from their location.

They've been doing this for years.

If you google dan's name plus emissions roush, there are plenty of results to look through.

I didn't get any letter

But they did say that they were going to keep it for a while. My question is how long and what if they put 10k miles on it and beat the piss out of it for 'emissions' within that time frame?

3k does sound tempting though lol

Sounds, and looks like, a scam to use your car for a few weeks. IMHO, I wouldn't let them near my car. But we don't have emissions testing, or standards for that matter, here.
