I keep forgetting to ask this until I go to use the A/C and recycle then it starts driving me crazy again... ....anyhow when I select recycle it automatically turns

A/C mode
I keep forgetting to ask this until I go to use the A/C and recycle then it starts driving me crazy again...
....anyhow when I select recycle it automatically turns the A/C on. When I turn the A/C off it turns the recycle off. WTF I want to turn the recycle and no A/C on because fresh air comes through warmer than the outside air so I'm blasting hot air in the car when cool outside air from the windows is what I want blowing around instead of running the A/C constantly.... Is this a normal function of the A/C and can it be turned off/modified?
