Thinking about selling the Z
I have been thinking about selling my Nismo 370z(most likely trading it in)
in all honesty i love my Z but im bored of it, i was thinking about either getting an EVO 8/9, GSX Eclipse, Subaru WRX/STI hatchback, Juke AWD, or if nissan releases a Silvia S16 i would want that as well any other cars you guys would recommend? im looking like 4banger turbo, preferably AWD or RWD, im not a fan of FWD |
idk how you could go from a sexy as hell NISMO, to a STI or evo.
|
You buy a Juke and someone will come by your house and put their foot in your azz.:bowrofl:

the Z is so sexy, its fast, and it corners extremely well, i just dont have fun driving it anymore, even back roads are starting to bore me with that car but when i drive my brothers Eclipse GS-T Sypder(Use to be mine but i gave it to him when i bought the Z) i have a blast in it even though its slower(it was faster but i dialed down the boost before i gave it to him), and even though its FWD idk maybe its the choo choo choo BOV noises the car makes LOL Quote:
it just needs a bit more low so it looks more like a wagon then it does a SUV |
My wife test drove the Juke before we bought the Altima and she liked it but said she didn't like how high it is.
|
I can understand Evo or Sti or even Silvia... But GSX Eclipse and Juke??? Maybe I should recommend you Cube or Xb?:icon18:
|
I dont understand your reasoning one bit but different strokes for different folks I guess... good luck. stay away from STIs almost everyone I know with them has had nothing but problems (blown motors, diffs, broken axles, terrible interior quality)
|
I don't see why anyone on this forum would suggest going from a nismo to an ugly awd rally car.

im just bored of my car if that makes any sense, its not really fun to drive any more, too much grip imo(which is good if i went to the track every weekend, but i dont so its boring) its like james may said, the fun begins when the grip starts to end Quote:

some other rwd N/A car? sorry if the cars im looking into dont interest you but im open to suggestions unless you just want to spam and bump post count.... |
Man on man. Trading in a Nismo Z for a JUKE?!?!?! What?? How can a Juke be more fun???? I could not ever imagine doing that. Even if it was a financial thing. I could see trading it in for another performance car such as the STi if you need the space and AWD with your weather situation (like me - going to move to CO), but I couldn't see the reasoning for saying the z isn't fun enough. Maybe you're not driving it right? Hah I kid I kid.
But if you are determined to change things up, the most fun alternative is getting a an STi and prepare it to go off roading. Or a jeep wrangler to go off roading. But for just street driving, I'd stick with the z Or to save money you get get an frs |

i would get a supra but they are expensive unless i opt for the N/A version |

i would get an FRS except that thing is SLOW, if it had a turbo i would be all over it but it doesnt, maybe the BRZ STi will have a turbo, iirc its rumored to have one honestly i kind of want more space and something that wouldnt be so inconvenient at times, like when i had to pick up a few things for my uncle(a stool and a few other big items), i had to borrow my moms maxima to get them because they wouldnt fit in the hatch of the Z, if i had a sedan, or even a FRS, i could have fit everything in the trunk(or in the case with the FRS drop the back seats and then fit everything) Quote:

Ok people, please don't beat me, but I've heard good things about the Focus ST.
|
Beetle Turbo fits your bill

Good luck on your search. a E46 M3 is also a nice option if your looking for something with 4seats RWD.

I havent heard much about the focus besides its a good econobox any real difference between that and the MS3? |
Boost the motor and never look back. Think about what your goals are for your next car and then once you find a car that matches your goals, then think about selling the Z. Or keeep it...

oh and i want some luxuries like a sunroof, leather seats, and something i can take off road occasionally(i have had to take my Z off road before for work and it is probably one of the scariest things i have done) honestly i wish i could afford paying 2 car payments but at 19 i cant if i bought outright thats another story but then im looking at older cars, and realistically i could afford a honda civic or something but i dont want a honda if i could keep my Z i would turn it into a 100% track car but unfortunately its either keep it and start to hate the car slowly(like the blind spots are getting on my nerves and i hate the ride quality, its just too stiff for street driving), or sell it and get something better suited for DD |
understand the feeling for a period of time, I was always trading out cars every 2 years, it wasn't until the last 8 that I settled down.
go for something fun and you like, as long as you drive that hard too |

i traded in a 2012 juke awd in on my 2010 Z roadster because i wanted a fun car ,the juke was ok it was my wifes car,but nothing like the Z. i have a 2011 kia sportage sx turbo niether the juke or the kia witch is faster will come close to the .z

Lol...honestly if you are serious about this I really don't think you deserve the nismo.........
|
Wow...

what she said lol....seriously though i do not understand how the Z is not a fun car to drive, i mean sure it has tons of grip through the turns, but it's not impossible to swing the tail out and get a little sideways as long as thats at the track and honestly if OP is looking for a car that is easier to drift i would be worried about anybody else driving remotely close to him |

1- turn your VDC off and try to drive it, better yet get a real tune to disable the brake booster which also prevents you from doing a stand still burn out! 2- stop driving like grandma :rofl2: the Z is a great drive Quote:

:iagree::rofl2: The Z is an easy car to have the aZZ kick out just got give it the right touch  |

The Z is TOO grippy? What do you think an Evo or STi are going to be? I like both cars, but if someone were to ask for a straight up trade for my Z? Hell no. I like the Z for everything that it is...however, if you're bored I say go for an STi or Evo. A GSX will probably be more trouble than it's worth.
