That is definitely a perk to being over 25 when you buy a new Z - we had it for over a week

When they let me drive off the lot with my brand new car, the passenger tire was inflated to probably ~100 psi - good ol' dealerships I got the tires heated pretty quick (cause new racecar ) and it bubbled on me. I stopped at a nearby friend's house and changed it out with the spare tire. When I got back to the dealership to explain what happened, they asked where the full size tire was. I told them I wasn't about to put that tire in my brand new Z, so I need a loaner to go pick up the tire at my friend's place. They gave me the same red Z to go get the tire

I think you can induce understeer in just about any car if you come into a corner too fast.

You're absolutely right, but I can take the exact same turn in my Sports pkg Z with tires just as bald (or even more so) faster and with much less understeer. I can take it at the same speed with zero understeer. There is a noticeable difference that I was able to replicate and demonstrate to myself more than once.

All these posts about hitting the ignition button are hilarious. Now I'll probably do it some time soon.

I do think SPOHN has the lead though with the hood pins. Twice.

About a month after I got my Z I was backing up from my garage my friend had his BMW
Parked at an angle behind me. He offered to move it but I said I could back up no problem .
Long story short after some distractions I forgot about his car being behind me
And I hear a sound and at first I thought I ran over a water hose or something.
Then Im like f*** . Went out to see the damage his side fender was dented
My rear bumper was fine no dents just a deep scratch that I got re painted shortly after .
Our bumpers are hard haha . I was backing up at like 5mph

I'd say most embarrasing

When I first got the car, it was the first one I had driven where you had to push down to get it into reverse.

So I got the car home from the dealership and tried to put it in my parking spot, couldn't reverse lol. Kept trying for a few minutes, didn't want to break the shifter...so I put it in Neutral and pushed it into the spot.

That night I called my buddy....and he proceeded to laugh his azz off for about 15 minutes...and explained to me how to get it into reverse.

at least that was day one

And those ignition button moments are too funny! Seems like the red GTR start button mod is already not good enough to prevent you folks to push that button carelessly. You ignition button folks need to upgrade to this mod...
