Just to be sure, I checked it today, guess what, 45 psi instead of the 35 it should be! Will find out tomorrow what difference it makes.
Tire pressure makes a huge difference in the handling of any vehicle.

Car and Drivers take in 09.

"At the track, the 370Z easily outpaced its predecessor: 0.3 second quicker to 60 mph, a half-second quicker to 100. What we have here is a $35,000 car that accelerates to 60 mph a mere 10th behind a Porsche Cayman S. The new Z’s 30-to-50 passing potential is now about a second better, and it picked up 0.9 second in its 50-to-70-mph burst. Skidpad grip has risen from 0.93 g to a tendon-bending 0.97 g, and the new brakes (no longer Brembos but Akebonos) have tightened stopping distance to 159 feet—race-car territory, kids."

A sports car (sportscar or sport car) is a small, usually two seat, two door automobile designed for spirited performance and nimble handling.[2] Sports cars may be spartan or luxurious but high maneuverability and minimum weight are requisite.[3]

I'd argue the miata is the epitome of a sports car (as is the lotus elan). The Z is one too. Although it is a porker.

They don't have the grip during daily that I would expect. My best guess is that they just don't reach the critical warm temp needed to get nice and sticky. When I had the car on a track a few weeks back, they performed great once I had them nice and warm. On the street, they stay so cold that I usually spin them like I was driving on hockey pucks.

Granted the suspension setup is quite stiff so bumps are not the Z's friend. I too had read that the Cayman is much better in this respect, but I don't have the automobile acumen to explain why the Cayman setup is better. It does seem the Z suspension could be loosened up but likely at the expense of road 'feel'.
This, but add in sways and a coilover/springs and you're golden. There were a lot of tittie hurt peeps back then. lol

You! You, don't get to quantify your Z as a sports car: not when you start threads like "Fit 4 people in the Z". You classify your car as a "powerful small-sized midget transport vessel". The rest of us can call it a sports car.

Hahaha

I think you used quantify when you meant qualify lol. It does handle better than my Mog or S14 even if it is heavier.

I don't understand why people always want sports cars to drive themselves. I have the most fun when the car is a beast and requires taming. If you aren't a little scared when romping on it at the track then you aren't having fun!

Why the **** is this even a discussion?

a better question would be: Should a person who uses "2" as a common replacement for "to" and "too" still be considered a person?

Sadly, the answer is yes.

you want to have a little fun and push the limits. But for the OP if your camber, suspension and alignment were not set properly of course your car will feel "swirly"same goes for if you need tires!
