Question about Steering Lock issue - locking on or off?
I have my 2010 Z in my garage for winter. Keeping a trickle charger on it, and crank it up every few days, same as I do every winter.
Today, ignition was stuck in LOCK. Both key fobs work fine to lock/unlock the car, battery seems fine. Cannot get ignition out of LOCK. Found this thread, and thought it might be my issue. Tried smacking the Steering Wheel Lock box, didn't do anything. I noticed that I can move the steering wheel with the car off, the steering wheel is not locked at all. From what I have been reading, the "Steering Wheel Lock" issue is the opposite, the steering wheel is stuck in lock. I'm thinking mine is stuck in unlock??? Does that make sense? Any ideas?
