I just received the notice from Nissan on the steering wheel lock. I pulled the fuse on mine the day after I bought the car and don't see any reason

I just received the notice from Nissan on the steering wheel lock. I pulled the fuse on mine the day after I bought the car and don't see any reason to bring my car to the dealer for a replacement part. How many of you who have pulled the fuse have had theirs replaced? Should I have mine replaced?
