Insurance all depends on where you live, in the past I lived in a smaller big city , then moved to a rural area and I was able to stay with either of the big old companies like state farm, allstate, etc.
But once I moved out west to a big metropolitan city with more than 2 million ppl plus, I was forced to go with Progressive for the motorcycles and Gieco for the cars, all the other companies mentioned here were 20 -40 % higher than Geico or Progressive. If you are currently owning a standard car and now bought a sports car and your insurance jumps up a lot, its more than likely you are under 30 yrs old, unmarried and you are now driving a more expensive vehicle. When I bought the 370Z my premium only went up about $150 more every 6 months, as compared to buying a new standard family sedan. |
