Chances are you already had a crack (or chip) you hadn't noticed. Then the temperature differential between the inside lamination and the outside lamination caused it to expand. Saw this

Chances are you already had a crack (or chip) you hadn't noticed. Then the temperature differential between the inside lamination and the outside lamination caused it to expand.
Saw this recently with a neighbor's truck that caught fire. Outside lamination was shattered all to hell - thousands of cracks. The inside lamination just had a single crack. |
