I mean, there are speed 3s that beat camaro SSs... and 370z for that matter...
We have a quick reaction on my ms3 forums: people that want to compare totally mismatched cars are complete retards.

It's OBVIOUS that a car that puts out 150hp more will win the race unless it is a TANK.
There's no competition, no comparison, and most importantly - NO bragging rights!
He's basically comparing a twin-turbo Z to a stock civic si... I think we all know the outcome. Which says nothing about the merits of either car or driver.

Also, Camaros are ugly.

imo this is very true, actually its just true!!

"slowmaro" I think he was disappointed in your driving abilities, it all depends on the driver some are slow some fast, wait no some cant even drive a fast car.

Reminds me of a couple years ago when my friend was convinced his '88 3-Series would beat my 5.5 gen Max. The end results weren't what he had envisioned.

If I wanted a drag car, I'd of gotten a Mustang Rosh, or MBW M3, or a vet. I believe the Z is a purpose built car. It has respectable 0-60 times for what it is for the $. I could take the old mans Bently GT stock and run rings around the Camero all day, all night, all weekend... but we are not comparing apples to apples. As aways, if some one wants to "run what you brung" I'm not gonna show up with a stock honda civic. Duh!

Afterthought: Ok well, well on my current budget, I might. But I'd stick my head out the window and make loud turbo blow off sounds all the way down my 16 second 1/4 mile run. At least I sounded fast...

BMW M3 - Drag Strip Not A Good Mix Now On The Other Hand Take It Around A Track thats a different story.

E46 M3 has weak subframes and will crack if launched too hard.

I would know that because i owned 2 Z's and an E46 M3.

Oh btw some of the post here crack me up.

Oh and I am the brother with the Z.

Camaros actually gain 0 HP from exhaust...we gain a lot HP from headers if anything...and I highly doubt a Camaro can keep up with a Z in the twistied but in a drag race its a driver race leaning to the SS jus because of the torque they have in em
