Nothing turns on in the car what so ever. No radio, no meter readings, lights don't turn on. But the fuel screen does show the key sensor once the key

Nothing turns on in the car what so ever. No radio, no meter readings, lights don't turn on. But the fuel screen does show the key sensor once the key is inserted into the slot.
Before this situation happened; i drove my car from once parking spot to another, to one closer to my house, went inside for about 5 minuets, then went out again to start my car and now nothing works. I dont see how the battery could die within 5 mins.
