For outstanding all year use I recommend these. The last snow storm that swept across Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico were no match for these tires. I never once lost control and was able to traverse the mountain passes (ice and snow) through New Mexico! They're not the end all of tires but damn do they provide great grip in the dry and wet as well as awesome control in snow and ice! Just don't be cocky and drive with your brain not with a lead foot.

With the proper tires and rims that you wont think much of go for it but remember this make sure your terrain isnt really rough and hilly. try to avoid step hills the Z is way to light. Especially if you have summer tires it'll be a scary climb. I would also recommend if you have extra cash just get a junker and drive it threw whatever you want.

I have symtech corrosion protection(not sure how well it works) planning to get krown too. I'm driving my car more in one year than someone who stores his in the entire length of their ownership. Hope my Z doesn't lose weight

No. Don't. See how easy that was. Srsly, though, buy a $3kBeater pickup truck/suv from 1995. Don't insure the Z for a few months and just stick it in the garage and drive the 4WD beater for the winter. The wheels and tires will run you 2-3K anyway for snow, just use it to buy a winter car instead.

I didnt buy a Z to have her sit in the garage all winter. I drove it all winter.....EXCEPT days when they called for snow or there was snow on the roads from previous storms. I drove the awd 2nd vehicle on those days.

I drove mine all winter with blizzaks and it did amazingly well. Never a hiccup. Honestly, how often is it snowing and the roads are so bad that you need 4wd? Snow falls. They plow it. Then its easy driving. . .
