I think OP should go back over there and get pics. Sure it's still sitting there while they figure out the best way of handling it.

nogoodname 07-05-2009 04:29 PM

use camera ZOOM if they don't let you in, or if behind a fenced area....

I don't get how someone with a Porsche Carrera S would accidently type turbo. There is a BIG difference between the two. I suspect he just google searched the image and posted it, then got called out. I mean, I've never accidently told someone I ride a ZX-10R when really its just a ZX-6R. I'm calling BS:bs: on this one unless pics of this wreck start showing up. I mean who has a Porsche Carrera S and a cell phone with no camera? Wouldn't someone want to document this supposed accident with hard evidence in case some insurance agency came after you?

If I'm wrong then great but things just aren't adding up for me here.

I wonder which dealership he went to...?
It probably doesn't matter now, it's most likely at a shop being repaired or it's at the towing company lot waiting for the insurance people.
That picture with the 911 seems like a familiar area to me!
I'm still amazed that this guy crashed a 370z and he drives a porche!
But then again most people in Jersey cannot drive for ****! :ugh2:

Togo 07-05-2009 05:46 PM

The other fishy thing is the 77 MPH thing. Who in their right mind notices that they are going 77 MPH when they are spinning a car out of control towards a barrier?

frost 07-05-2009 05:47 PM

crown, you're the only top 10 poster who is not a paid member/mod
Just a fun fact.

nogoodname 07-05-2009 05:49 PM

so, if it's familiar to ur area, where's the nearest dealership

as i said, i felt in control the whole time. i looked at the speed coming down the overpass and i was doing 81, felt the back slide as i was trying to reduce speed. so yes, i was very aware of the speed.

as i said, i am very experienced racing car driver.

Actually if you look carefully, you haven't made that claim until just this very minute. Care to share who you raced for, in what leagues/catagories you raced, as well as what vehicle you were using for this racing? Also how long have you been racing?

Really? Grand Am? Sports car or prototype? What team? were you at the NJMP race 5/3?

I call BS as well. a pro driver knows the diff between a C2S and a 996TT. He also would have been able to handle a basic on power oversteer situation.

Glad I stopped by to check the list. I needed a good laugh today.

My Yugo Trans Am team is looking for a hot shoe. Can anyone on the list point me to a good driver? :bowrofl:

my driving ability should not be judged by a simple test drive wreck. these kinds of things are common place.
