Sounds to me like you need to replace the battery. Mine wasn't starting up as quick, so i got a new battery and the car starts up 2-3 seconds faster haha.
Technically you have to push the "Start" button 2 times to turn the car on anyways..The brake + button=Startup.

What I am experiancing is a change and a new car battery may be in order.
