Default Test pipe Gas fume smell leaking into cabin with A/C or heater?

I have the Motordyne ART test pipes, and my friend with another 370 has the FI LTH. We both have a situation where we smell gas fumes in the cabin when we have the fan blowing (A/C, fan, or heater). Keep in mind this is while the windows are up. I thought it was just a leak on my car so I put a ton of hi-temp silicone on the pipings, but still had the problem. Then my friend noticed the same thing on his car, but his install was very clean so it shouldn't be leaking.
What gives?

You have test pipes... Case closed, what did you expect???

You have to drive with recirculate on 24/7, or get going, over 10 mph and turn the fans on from outside air to waft the smell out...

what i'm saying is, if there is no exhaust leak and with the windows up in our cars, then the only place the fumes should be coming out is out the tail pipes. if i'm in a constant cruising speed, then the fumes should be constantly shooting out behind the car, not leaking into the cabin cause that would just make no sense to me.

Hmmm, I have the Motordyne Art Pipes as well...I usually drive with my window full or half open however, so I definitely smell fumes at a light or on start up

Its getting colder here and I had the windows up for the most part today...heat slightly on in cabin...I don't recall smelling the fumes though...

Unless your recirculate is on, you will get SOME smell in the cabin... If you're at constant cruising speed, turn your fan on with outside air...

My driving procedure, car on, already on recirculate, drive, get to 10MPH, turn off recirculate, see a yellow light, turn recirculate on, come to the stop, on green wait to get to 10MPH, turn recirculate on... Rinse and repeat, LOL
