Not sure if this car has been mentioned but I me and a few friends have chevy cobalts. They are like the ultimate cheep and reliable car. I picked mine up for 5800 and it had about 75000 on it. There not fun or fast by any means but 4 doors, cheep, reliable, and when it comes to maintenance besides the regular stuff (pads, oil changes) it only needs about 200 worth of parts at 100000.
