I love the Top Gear show. But Jeremy is a Z hater, atleast all of them except the 1st-Gen-Z. So he'll probably bash the 370 too.

Oh and it's not my site, somebody posted it on the other Z forum. I just thought everybody here would enjoy it. Oh and it does have the latest episodes. The one from last week was with the Ford Fiesta and it's on there.

I bet he will like it, as it seems an improvement on all the things he did not like about the Z33. Of course he always finds some ridiculous reasons not to like cars, and never in a consistent manner, leading me to believe it is all for the show.

He is wildly entertaining though and I look forward to a review none the less.

He will criticize the interiors materials as he did on the 350z and always does with American cars, even tho this is not an American car, but you get the point.
He will then compare it to a German car.
He will compare it to the old 350z and give some remarks of the history of Z again, he will tell that his heel and toe is better than the new syncro auto rev. transmission but in the end, the 370z will kick his believes but he will still try to give a bad impression of it, but not as he did on the 350z and again, compare it to a German car.
Pure Opinion. btw, Great great show.

Funny his criticism on the 350Z had not contributed to the fact that it became the car of the millenium, in sales and is used in a whole field of sporty scenes for instance drifting. I don't see how it being designed in California had to do with anything the car stood for, lmao it's that type of criticism you would get from an Englishmen or where ever he is from due to the car being made in the U.S. Also the sound of the car?? Muscle car?? Doesn't want to drive it fast because of the road the guy crashed on?? Drive the car on a track moron!!! come on get real. If he dislikes the 370 Z, this man needs to stay off the roads period!!!.

I think he (Jeremy Clarkson) will laothe the exterior, synchro-rev match feature..and fine some other stupid reasons to hate it. But in the end it doesnt matter....truthfully.

Complain:
1) lights
2) head room
3) material qiality (it feel "plastic-ish")

Overall i too agree 2 w/posts above that this time it might end up in a positive note with the performance/price ratio.

Clarkson is going to hate the looks, hate the interior, then fall in love with the performance and value of it. He's going to compare it to the original Z, and tell us that Nissan finally returned the Z to it's roots.

I would do the same. The G37 is a jack of all trades, master of none kind of car. It's not a pure sports car, and it's not a true luxury coupe.
I would take one, and love it, but I'd never spend my own money on one.

I'm not trying to pick on the car, so take no offense. It's just the the G does not work for me - I don't care much for luxury. I'll take communicative steering over the world's most comfortable ride any day.
The reason the new Z is so attractive to me is that it appears to be a much better drivers car - stiffer chassis, more steering feel, etc. The less that gets between me and the direct controls of the car, the better. Logically, you would assume that I am not interested in the GT-R. And you'd be right - I find it boring.

I'm not looking for a flame war, just voicing my opinions that work for me.

ok, you just explained the whole point of a Z and a G.

the Z is meant for ppl who want just power/performance
and the G is for ppl who want luxury and luxury cars all have power with them.
