Default What RPMs get you the most gas mileage?

So I've been keeping an eye on my range icon on my Nismo during daily driving. I thought that lower RPMs (1500-2500) would increase my gas mileage, but it seems like the range increases when I fluctuate around 3,000 RPMs. Anybody else notice any different?
