The best way to describe it is the G has a much more refined ride than the Z. It's smoother and much quieter. For daily driving you may actually prefer the G. The Z is much more spirited and noticeably quicker. I was torn between both cars when I purchased as well. I chose the Z mainly because of the look of the car.
