That probably led to #2 and someone checked to see if there was anything in the car.

Luckily I don't keep anything important or valuable in the car, but nothing seemed touched when I saw the car this morning.

The time those compartment doors opened up, the windows were closed, so it'd doubtful anyone opened the car at that time.

What would you think if you know that no one has access to your car, and then when you go and get in, you see that those two doors are opened. You'd think that someone was messing around with you. But not in this case.

do you live alone? Live with your family? do you have a spare key? do you have children who would take the car?

Friends who would mess with you since they know you are a "ghost" believer?

I would set up a camera and see what happens, perhaps nothing, or maybe you will see who or what is behind this.

Wonder if a Nissan employee or a friend that knows one lives nearby? Where is your second key fob...? That could explain a lot if someone is messing with you but just in case none of those are true I called and my grandson was having problems with monsters in his dreams. His mom got him a can of "Monster Spray"...worked for him! Just a thought.

I just tried pressing the lock button to see if it lowered the windows and nothing happened?

I held the button down for a minute. How long does it take to lower the windows?
