It's pretty nice. Especially compared to the cheesy OEM plastic one.

So does it actually have performace benefits. Additional downforce? better cooling?

Hey everyone,
Here's a thread where you post a picture or update or story or info on what you did to your Z today. All the replies must be on topic here. There are some member who want to keep a "on topic" thread on this topic and don't want to scroll though a lot of unrelated replies. If you're one of members, you are more than welcome to participate in this thread. However, if you want to carry on the same topic with other stuff , please post in this thread: http://www.the370z.com/lounge-off-to...ay-thread.html

I'll start this thread off with this:

ZSpeed claims that it has better cooling. It does have more venting so that's probably true. It also has a small removable section for doing oil changes so that all 16 screws don't have to be removed every time you need to get to the oil filter and drain plug. That's not a performance benefit but I like the convenience benefit.

picked up some red line gear oil today to switch out the factory rear differential oil and went to dealer to see how much it would be for them to switch the oil...needless to say i turned around and walked out while chuckling to myself for the price they quoted me....$75 for a friggin half hour job tops and i got questioned multiple times as to why i wanted to change the differential oil lol
