Changed the cabin filter. Couldn't believe how many screws and clips hold up the glovebox. It was a welcome surprise given Nissans typical build quality.

Well you never know when the entire glove box assembly might completely detach and become a flying projectile inside the cabin during an accident :wtf2:

It's certainly higher on the priority list than a steering lock or CSC that are prone to failure, leaving you stranded :ugh2:

I found enough time (20 mins total) to install some of my new parts this a.m....

Red LED's, GT-R clear lenses and start/stop button - shipped - all for under $100! Thanks to whoever came up with this inexpensive mod... great idea!

Now for the more time consuming stuff...

Other Nissan's it basically 2/3 screws and a few flimsy clips

my honda dont even need to remove any clips or screws.... :ugh: just push the sides of the glove box towards the inside (like them cheepo plastic drawers you buy at target and stuff) and the glove box opens completely exposing the cabin filter.

Can you replace the Z air cabin filter from the other side if you remove the cowls and battery? :icon17:

you can, you just need to remove the winshield and rear bumper. :icon17:
