In your opinions members, do you guys think i should go wash the Z? Well see im a broke college student and i haven't washed her in weeks there was bird poop on her the other day but i removed it...its supposed to rain the next three days here.

DLSTR 12-15-2012 12:23 PM

Nice wash and detail today. We have been having some real winter weather and the Z has been great in the snow, slush and moisture. Nice to see it clean. Blizzaks rule!!! :)

This cracks me up. I don't know why, it just does.

Maybe being broke and driving a Z part?

I think it is the being broke and pondering the question of car washing, which cocst next to nothing, or having a nice Z and letting bird doo-doo accumulate.

Pintsize725 12-15-2012 12:46 PM

Balanced wheels, screw in tire wasn't long enough to do damage, oil change, inspection and new passenger wiper blade.

Hotrodz 12-15-2012 12:54 PM

Filled her up $3.17 a gallon. Still raining off an on here in the upper desert. Made arrangements to have springs and spacer installed on Tuesday.

Headed to Vegas later this afternoon! Can't wait to open her up..:driving:

I managed to heat up my tires in this cold today and I'm feeling good. First a bike pulls out in front of me and when I pass him he yells at me. shortly followed by a car driver waiting until eye contact is made before, pulling out in front, and me slamming on the brakes. Another mile and mid turn the car hits his brakes for zero reason. The heat in my tires was gone. Except for my heart rate increase, nothing happened. SOB.

Oh wait, that's my other car haha. This is pure sex! I drove the Z to this car show. Two Aventadors, probably 10 lambos in all, 20+ Ferraris, McLaren MP4-12C, two Ford GT's, LFA, Vipers, GTR, and a bunch of others. Also, two DE 350z's there with turbo kits that belonged to my friends:tup:

It's great you choose to match your Aventador colors to your clothes, black and grey contrast.

I just got back from Las Vegas. A great ride with the typical stupid stuff people like to do, pull up beside you to check your ride out...fall back do it again...pass you, then slow down.

If you are in the market for new driving shoes, Puma outlets are having a 50% off sale. I pick up a good pair of shoes for $45.

Footloose301 12-16-2012 05:27 AM

Sweet. Can't wait for my Vegas trip in two weeks!

Mt Tam I am 12-16-2012 10:05 AM

My membership seems to have run out. I have hundreds of messages to delete before I can send first. What a mess.

Haboob 12-16-2012 10:38 AM

Hit 1000mi last night. These first thousand came so fast (1 week!). Also drove it without the clutch helper spring and man, she feels so amazing now.

nmjaxx9 12-16-2012 05:52 PM

springs should be ag in on Monday :D Spacers and splitter already reached.

xxAGAVExx 12-16-2012 06:57 PM

About ten hours.

The sun is out and the roads are drying. Had a nearly unobstructed drive to work today. Great fun but zero note worthy.

SPOHN 12-18-2012 06:04 PM

Ripped dash out, passenger side airbag, blower, and heater will becoming out this week. This baby is getting light.

Hotrodz 12-18-2012 07:43 PM

I was supposed to get my springs and spacers installed today, but when I showed up at the shop the mechanic told me no go. They were done...out of business. :wtf2: So I thanked him for the work he had done for me in the past and wish him a Merry Christmas :ugh2: Went to another reputable tire shop and scheduled the install for Thursday!

Drove home in the rain...I know what is the big deal...320 day or better of sunshine.

white_wolf 12-19-2012 01:07 AM

More detailing... good thing I had my partner in crime....he wasn't exactly ecstatic though. :icon17:

EndyKwon 12-19-2012 01:23 PM

I think I'm starting to pick up on the asian driver stereotype... I've curb rashed twice in two days while taking a right turn. What the hell is wrong with me. My rear right rims are nicely scratched up. :( I don't know why I'm driving terribly these days.

nmjaxx9 12-19-2012 07:23 PM

Waiting for the Spacers then clean and wax for the weekend then install next week. :happydance:

GaleForce 12-19-2012 08:17 PM

I keed, I keed :icon17:

But seriously, figure that $hit out yo... if you're really having trouble, find an empty parking lot and set up some cones to practice and get to know the car dimensions
